3 week old & already meat eaters

The babies are 3 weeks old tomorrow wibbling & wobbling around the kitten pen, well I noticed we had babies who were crying for something so off I went to the butchers to get my meat, organs & meaty bones to mince down. After it was all minced, mixed with supplements we decided to introduce our babies to their first raw diet feed. WOW what a reaction I didnt even do anything I put the bowl on the floor & of they went 5 heads in bowls. We had growls & purrs & they all started eating eachothers paws & ears, it was so funny to watch but they all left with big round fat tummys & mommy cleaned them all up but to see their little dirty wet faces was a picture. We are now promtoing raw diet to all our cats because of the danger in pet foods.

We had a new picture today of our little torbie girl Duffy so we thought we would share it wih you all. She really is a nice typey girl & we are ever so excited & can not wait to see her.

Luka

We have found a special name for our precious gift & he will be called Luka.

Luka is now weighing over 160g at only 4 days old he is a monster of a kitten who is moving around & holding his head up. He is quite a vocal little chappy & certainly hates it when mommy wants to give him his bath. We are positive he is a black & silver classic.

So without further hesitation here he is ............................

The Birth

Yesterday saw the arrival of our last litter for now, we had two lovely babies born but it soon was a sad occasion that one baby was cleft & unable to suckle at all so we had to make the sad choice that no breeder likes to make but has to. No breeder will let our babies suffer. We have now one precious gift with us who will stay with us he is so big & mommy is well she knows one is missing right now so cries a little but she is focusing on her precious gift.

Waiting !!

We are at the moment sat on the floor waiting to take our first look @ Precious kittens she is in visible labour now so shouldnt be too long we will of course update you when we have had the special delivery

Well mum is being as protective as possible so it is very hard to be able to weigh & take pictures so early, we are not too bothered as long as mummy & babies are doing well & from the weight chart we are very happy with what mommy is doing we manged to grab some quick pictures while mommy was stretching her legs. This was a nice round litter weight were nearly all the same & all are fiesty & vocal. We have 2 high white brown tabby's just like mommy Elisa they are both boys, 1 black & white patched a girl & 1 tabby without white girl & 1 solid black boy

Finally today we saw our first set of kittens not Precious but Elisa & Basilli so far we have 5 healthy babies not sure if we have finished yet or not we have a brown tabby no white, solid black & three high white brown tabbies like mommy :-)

News !!!!!!

Well unfortunately Kamuel will not be joining us in June he has a bad eye so his breeder mommy has decided he should not be used for breeding.
So we have reserved a new boy from the same breeder mommy & he will be called Nikifor we are very excited we should have pictures shortly we will of course update you about him as soon as we can..........

We have also reserved a special torbie girl who will arrive June / July 2009 as soon as we can we will let you know what is happening but she will be our little secret until she arrives in the UK...................

We are still awaiting the special delivery of our babies she is very tired & resting as much as she can the quiet before the storm I would say, hopefully not long now

So while we wait we will share some more piccies of our special boy Brutus with his nice big bushy tail.. He attends his first show soon so we will keep our fingers crossed for him

Good luck my baby boy

Well Precious is certainly keeping us hanging on as we thought yester was day 65 but maybe we were wrong who knows only time will tell us.

Also we are only 6 days from Elisa & her delivery day its all very exciting now.

As today is the first of April we are very pleased to say that our new boy will be arriving in just under 4 months whohoooo this is fantastic we can not wait to meet him then he will be on the show bench with Imir.

We have our first TICA show 25th April with Imir so we are very nervous & excited we hope good things will be round the corner for Imir as he is our homebred boy you get very nervous of what you achieve.

Only another 8-10 weeks & our new surprise girl will hit the UK she is so adorable a lovely torbie girl to join us :)
